Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Hijacking

In 2009 while leaving in nakuru cases of hijacking and the hijackers would hold them for a ransom and failure to pay the ransom would lead to the murder of the child.this cases rose sharply such that in one week, such cases would be reported especially during school days.parents were so strict and worried and some even hold their children at home with fears of being hijacked. the cases were not only reported in nakuru but in various town in kenya and a time came when this security issue almost became a national disaster because even mps got hijacked and other prominent people. The rate was so high and a solution ah dot be found and that's when the idea of Sim card registration by various mobile phone operators in order to be able to detect those who issue threats and demand for ransom.this idea was so effective because it would be easier to detect the owner of the number, their position and would be easier traced.after a period of one year of sim card registration by various networks ,the rampant practice significantly declined in Nakuru and other areas like Nairobi
