Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Police Cells

For a very long time there was no prison in my community rather district and therefore whenever one was arrested,h/she would just suffer in the police cells until his/her was over then would the person be set free or be taken to prison far away from the family members like kodiaga prison in Kisumuin the police cell the numbers of those being arrested would grow every day and at time in one police cells you could find more than a hundred people fitted in it. Daily things grew worse because those arrested and put in the cells, would leave wiht such diseases as T.B,skin diseases and other diseases that can be passed on and therefore health became an issue.this ws the case until the government embarked on construction of a prison in the area well known as korinda prison.after its completion things becme fine.No longer were people taken far awy from their families but there prisoned there where they were also taught farming, masonry, electronics and how to be good citizens and through this prison many lives have been changed
