Lunga Water Treatment

For decades Kisumu sity had been facing water shortages due to high water demand 44,000. This led to taps in some areas drying up and people purchasing water from water vendors af very high price some which is not good for consumption as a result many people were diagnosed of typhoid especially residents of Nyalenda where i used to live. Whoever as a result of efforts from the Lake Victoria South Water Services Board, the Lunga Water treatment plant was constructed which has greatly helped to solve the water shortage problem due to an icreased water supply of 46000water has surpassed the demand of 44,000. Yoday Residents of Nyalenda are happy because of the availability of water and those diagnosed of typhoid are not many as they used to be.
