Sewage

In dead there was a need for the sewage systems to be constructed in Busia given that many houses were being constructed and the small sewage around had already started to overflow and posing a great danger to the lives of many. To make matters worse , the slaughter house was also overflowing with water and blood that caused acidity to soil around as a result production of crops was affected mainly crop farmers from mauko community. The area chief and the district administration together with the municipal council so the need for the construction of the system and appealed to the government for help. Around mid 90's and late 90's the sewage was constructed and completed and all household sewage system were also directed to that end something that has greatly helped to protect the environment, waters that's rivers and streams and the soils hence effectiveness in farming
