Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

"kikulacho'

Kenya attained its independence in the year 1963 and in 1964 it became a republic. By that time the then president Mzee Jommo Kenyatta had three goals to eradicate, poverty, illiteracy and in Kenya. He came into power and things worsened, there were massive killing and numerous cases of land grabbing. Then came in Moi, by then millions of citizens land had been grabbed and he controlled the judicial system such that his corrupt ways could not be unveiled to the country, politicians and citizens were assigned, the media was controlled such that they did not have the freedom to express their views. And corruption cases were unassive. But Kenya slowly developed and we could hear things like constitution, people being educated, the emergence of the constitution and what have you. Transparency interaction has taken the initiative to educate the Kenyans in their rights, on their constitution, where we have come from and most importantly where we are headed to. Its walking in the community advicing people to choose leaders wisely, leaders that can bring development to people. And they are doing all this by showing them a film called 'KIKULACHO' weaning the bite within.
