Empowering The Girl Child

In the latter days, education was not highly value in many communities of Kenyan people. This was because many people values much on their family and what they had by then. Boys were taught how to hunt, to be worriors in their communities and many other things that made the communities benefit in terms of foirlessmen. Women were taught on how to cook and even on how take care of their families and all this things were beneficially to the community and not to the persons involved. And now in the 21st century, what many people believed in the past is now over but for girls it had been hard for mann peolep deviate from it in 2002, free primary education was introduced by the government and then many children who had been left out because of economic reasons were given a chance to go to school and this led to a increase in enrolment, especially for girls. After some years this programme was extended to secondary schools and it increased in enrolment. Many girls have been changed by technology which is changing day by day and many girls have started going to school and finishing their secondary education and went to college aftermath seeking better empolyment and also increasing their living standards.
