Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Free Primary Education

Education is seen as the key to a better future world over and the government has tried to do everything possible to make sure that it is a success. At independence illiteracy was declared one of the enemies of people of Kenya. But successive governmet have done little to make it succed. When the current government came into power in 2002,free primary education was introduced and it became the night of every child to go to school. This has seen the increased enrolment number in schools. But though this is appreciated there is still alot to be done since the number of children in these public school is so big that the number of teachers available can not handle it effectively. This compromises quality of education.
