Health Water And Sanitation Project

In 1983 Cholera broke out within Matayo's division and this led to health personnel erecting camps at Muuchilika market on Busia-kisumu road about 8km from Busia town.. this problem ushered in right thinking women started a group called Daumbakana water project when started advocating for pipe waters to help solve the water nuisence. They received 49,000/ from netherlands 77% from from a well known international company. The project is very worthy.It receives funding from the Constituency development fund CDF and it has helped improve health and sanitation education livelihood
