Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

A Tree A Day

This organization / movement was started by an ecologist who had just finished school and due to the job scarcity in Kenya lacked to secure a job to provide for his daily needs. Every day he heard everyone complain about the rising effects of global warming and nobody did anything about it. They just complained till no one day he decided to be part of the solution and started his own organisation to plant at least one tree a day per person. He got help through the relevamt ministry by helping them acquire over a thousand seeds of a species of tree that was known to grow in arid areas and could take 10 years to grow fully. hHe moved from school to school to institution to institution and he helped educate steudents on the benefits of planting a tree a day. Sooner than later, his system has catched up and now with the help of the ministry, he's planting trees all over Kenya.
