Alisha BlackMallon and Jeanne Boland - Middle School Educators-Denver, CO

Alisha is a former employee of the Abraham Path Initiative and currently teaches literacy. Jeanne teaches humanities with a focus on social justice issues and peace education. She received a Fund for Teachers grant to travel in Israel / Palestine for six weeks to further develop her curriculum. Both are excited for the opportunity to bring expand student learning by bringing them to the region.

Hijazi Eid - Country Coordinator-Palestine

Hijazi’s responsibilities are community engagement and outreach. He has helped to organize and guide trips along the Abraham Path for over a year. As well as being a skilled tour guide, he has a background as a social entrepreneur with experience in business administration and accounting.

Avner Goren - Country Coordinator - Israel

Avner's responsibilities are community engagement and outreach. He is a published historian and professor in Middle Eastern and Israeli history and culture. He has lead tour groups in Israel and Egypt as well as historic sites throughout the Middle East for over 20 years.
