Poor families in the countryside of Ecuador have been bringing their children into our hospital with fractures and pneumonia. We need to purchase and operate a new X-Ray machine to diagnose these!
Rural families lack access to health care in Latin America. Andean Health is providing QUALITY and AFFORDABLE care to the rural population. Children suffer everyday from sicknesses like pneumonia and minor or major bone fractures.
By purchasing a new X-Ray machine, we can easily diagnose more children everyday preventing their illnesses from getting worse or having to travel far distances into the capital city.
Diagnosing illnesses early improves the overall health of the community. The X-Ray machine services will also bring in new revenues since patients can use their public insurance at our hospital -- contributing to the hospital's self-sustainability.
