Summary
This project provides human rights education to young people between the age of 15-25 through non-formal learning tools in 18 selected districts of Pakistan and AJK.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Creating a society in which human rights are not only respected but also positively promoted requires action and intervention on a variety of levels like legal, political, social, cultural, economic & of course & educational is very much dependent on younger generation.Designed for participants who are or act as: active youth worker in non-formal education, especially within youth organisations and associations, in youth work activities and in other NGOs concerned with human rights education.
How will this project solve this problem?
• 5 trainings for Master Trainers in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Mirpur (12 trainers/training)
• 90 training workshops for young people in 18 selected districts using COMPASS (www.compass.coe.int)
Potential Long Term Impact
This project will have around 830 direct beneficiaries and almost 2000-3000 indirect beneficiaries in every district.

I had no knowledge about my rights till I got some material from Youth Alliance for Human Rights and now I work as a trainer in my community in Multan for Human Rights Education.
