Women’s Health Initiative will educate women in Himalayan region of Kashmir about breast cancer, the method for performing breast self-examinations (BSEs), and the importance of early detection.

Our pilot program has already screened over 500 women since June, 2009, with over twenty women with abnormalities scheduled for further diagnosis and treatment. We aim to educate & screen over 2500 women in next 3 years
