To intervene in the lives of domestic violence survivors and their children, providing opportunities to establish safe, independent lives in an environment of safety, security, hope, and help.
It is a tragedy that we must turn away far too many clients. Last year we had 3,278 requests for shelter we were unable to meet.
Increased revenue will allow for greater access to services and ensured continuation of services for domestic violence survivors and their families.
We expect to serve over 200 women and children in our emergency shelter program this year.
