As of June 2011 we have raised $2,200 to support our emergency shelter services for domestic violence survivors and their families. These funds have covered the bed night expenses related to offering shelter and meeting the needs of the residents of West Women's and Children’s Shelter.
We have continued to have an increase of survivors seeking shelter and unfortunately there are 350 requests for shelter each month which we are unable to serve. We work to create safety plans for each survivor who are unable to access shelter.
