Challenge

The need for clean water is urgent. Over 30,000 children die each day from contaminated water; 85% of all diseases in African children under 5 are caused by water-borne illnesses; and the United Nations reports that 20% of the world’s population struggles to gain access to safe drinking water every day. This project will benefit children in the villages and provide them with an opportunity for life and good health. It will also provide them a chance to continue their education.

Solution

This project will provide all of the 100 children in the village safe drinking water, along with the opportunity for them to continue their education.

Long-Term Impact

This project will assist the village and children and ensure that they have safe, clean drinking water so they can continue to live their lives in good health.

This project has provided additional documentation in a Microsoft Word file (projdoc.doc).
