This project provides community sanitation and hygiene education for 70 families to foster a healthy and clean society.
*Open defecation and water borne diseases are caused by contamination on the banks of River Cauvery in Tamil Nadu. *Providing sustainable sanitation systems and capacity building and education at different levels - family, school and local governing body.
By providing ecological toilets, we curb open defecation and reduce considerably the diarrheal deaths. By training, we make them self-sustaining and inculcate the best practices in sanitation.
70 families, or 3500 people directly from the project Potentially, over 10,000 people from neighbouring villages on education.
