In the municipality of San Antonio de Cortes, Honduras big movements are happening! The main water-line of an enormous water project that will bring water to 17 communities in this municipality was recently completed. This was a huge feet, as nearly 13-kilometers of pipe needed to be laid for the completion of the main line. Now the municipality is focused on building piping to each of the communities. The contract has been signed, materials purchased, and work has begun on the biggest branch of the system which will bring water to 7 of the 17 communities. Nearly 14-kilomerters of piping will be laid in this next stage. Once 17 community project is completed over 4,500 people will have access to water. Then, the work on keeping it flowing forever begins!
