Summary
This project provides 40 young leaders the opportunity to meet with nominees for presidents/representatives of main political parties in Costa Rica towards 2010 national elections.

The problem: Lack of youth political engagement and participation in civic life.

Solutions? A national political debate with nominees for presidents/representatives of main political parties, a network and database of youth, NGO’s and the local community
How will this project solve this problem?
Certified youth participants -- Networking and Database
Encourage and support youth from the Debate to become active in civic life
Link leaders from different organizations with each other to create a network to promote political debate.
Potential Long Term Impact
The project will build a network of young leaders to keep promoting political debate in Costa Rica. This network can create and maintain a database where young leaders and organizations can collaborate to promote new politics.
