Karen Sparacio - Director

Karen, the Founder and Director of Project Have Hope, traveled to Uganda in October of 2005 as a volunteer to photograph for several relief organizations. During the trip, she met Ayaa Grace, an Acholi woman who invited her to visit the Acholi Quarter. Karen was deeply moved by the residents' stories of extreme hardship. When she returned to Project Have Hope in 2006, Project Have Hope was born.
