Provide Vocational Training for Ugandan Women

With the funds raised thus far, Akello Paska will take a vocational training course in knitting to enable her to singlehandedly support her six children and the three orphans and additional child that she has taken in.

Abalo Florence is a successful graduate of the Tailoring Vocational Training Program who makes and sells her own clothing.

Vocational training in knitting is available. One graduate of this program has secured contracts with local schools to make their school uniform sweaters.

The salon management and hairstyling program is another successful vocational course.

Ayoo Florence will take a course in designing with the funds raised on GlobalGiving thus far. This will guarantee her financial security and her ability to care for her five children and the two orphans she has taken in.

Anyiri Estarina will take a course in knitting with the funds raised thus far on GlobalGiving. She will learn how to use a complex machine that will enable her to knit eight sweaters a day and start a successful business from home.

Acen Jacinta will take a course in tailoring with the funds raised on GlobalGiving thus far. This opportunity will mean everything to Jacinta - a chance to prove herself, take care of her children, and send them to school.

Lalam Lucy will take a course in designing with the funds raised on GlobalGiving. She will learn basic sewing skills and how to create designs to be embroidered onto cloth. This is a very specialized skill that will guarantee her financial security. Lucy is 30 years old and works hard to care for 7 children - 5 are her own.
