The aim of the project is to provide orphaned babies from Vsevolojsk baby-care center with massage which is vital for them as it is the only way for them to develop physically.
When a child has a family, every single hug or touch helps him to develop his body. Infants from orphanages lack physical communication with parents which affects their physical development and later on affects their whole lives. Baby care centres and children's hospitals in Russia are not able to provide massage for abandoned children, and therefore the children have to grow up without the needed help. This always leads to different physical conditions (e.g. paralysis).
Every child needs massage 10-15 massages 3 times a year. Therefore we hire professional masseuses to give a course of massage to each child in the Vsevolojsk orphanage.
The help we are providing to the children gives them a chance to be normal which is very important in any age as well as in childhood as in adult life. Statistics also show that orphans with no physical conditions are likely to be adopted.
Giving children a chance to a normal life is more important than toys, clothes and gifts. It is vitally important.
