Vision Care Activity for January - March 2012

From January 1st to March 31st 2012, The KEX Kids Fund received $28,168.40 from businesses, foundations, individuals, and service organizations. These funds include $4175 from a 20/20 Celebration of Sight and Sound fundraising event held January 15th in Oregon City and $7260 in corporate sponsorships for the May 20th golf tournament.  Funds are kept in one account and are used for both of our Hearing Care and Vision Care Programs.

Vision Care Program Services expenses for the first quarter of 2012 were $23,808.50.   The KEX Kids Fund provided care for 101 children and processed applications for an additional 201 children, who will soon receive services, for a total of 302 children requesting help during this quarter.  The 101 children received visions care services valued at over $92,000.
