Vision Aides to a Child in New Orleans

Provide visually-impaired children with aides to help them see. Help bring a child's world into focus for the first time.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

Inner city students face many challenges in achieving an education. One of those barriers should not be that they couldn't see the chalkboard or couldn't see to read a book.

How will this project solve this problem?

This gift supplies children who are visually impaired with aides to help them see. These items are invaluable tools to children - helping them to see, learn and in many instances bring their world into focus for the first time.

Potential Long Term Impact

This program will provide inner city children with a valuable tool in achieving academic success. By helping a child you are making an investment in their future that will benefit them for a lifetime.
