Donna Baranski-Walker - Executive Director of the Rebuilding Alliance

Engineer graduate from MIT who founded the Rebuilding Alliance in 2003 to aid families and communities living in war zones or areas of occupation. Donna met with Haj Sami Sadik in 2003, just after the Israeli High Court ruled in favor of the village, and agreed to help rebuild their kindergarten.

Haj Sami Sadik Sbaih - Village Council Head

Haj Sami Sadik learned to speak fluent Hebrew when he was in hospital in Israel. He is a professionally trained nurse, providing care at the medical clinic in his village. Elected as head of the village council, he works fulltime plus in an effort to welcome everyone and save his village.

Rawhieh El Sabeeh - Head of the Al Aqabah Rural Women's Association

Caregiver to Haj Sami Sadik (who is in a wheelchair), who will be joining him for the U.S. speaking tour this September, 2008.
