Summary

Support relief efforts after Typhoon Ketsana hit Vietnam on September 29th, leading to heavy flooding and at least 92 deaths.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

In the storm and subsequent flooding, over 170,000 homes were damaged and nearly half-a-million acres of crops were destroyed. Hundreds of thousands were evacuated and the death toll continues to mount. Support is needed to bring basic goods and services to those affected.

How will this project solve this problem?

Funds will support relief efforts on the ground, bringing food, medical attention, supplies and water to hundred of thousands who have been impacted by the storm and floods.

Help residents impacted by the storm and flooding recover from the disaster.
