We will be developing a marketing strategy for Nilüfer Women’s Cooperative. This includes providing computational workshops and creating advertisement materials, including a Web site.
Lacking a social network, job skills and affordable childcare, most women do not have the chance to work outside the home. Lacking available and affordable early childhood education, most children do not have the chance to attend kindergarten. An increase in finances from the Nourish marketing strategy means the cooperative could expand, increasing the number of children that benefit from early education and number of women who work; more women working means greater gender equality.
During the day, we will participate in computational workshops, as well as document the cooperative for the Web site. In the evening, we will conduct workshops to create advertisement materials for upcoming events and attend cooperative meetings.
The project will directly serve the 30+ members of Nilüfer Women’s Cooperative. The individuals will have gained more economic and social empowerment through financial stability. The project will address poverty conditions for women in Düzce.
