Hi supporters!
I would like to thank you all on behalf of the staff and on behalf of the women and girls of our program for your generous donations to CHHASE.
In this letter we would like to share some of the most important events with you about the program you have been supporting. Last month, we have completed Embroidery training to tribal women to start their own embroidery units and to earn income.
Now on 8th march, 2013, we are starting fresh sewing training to 20 women and girls in our business school. This training will teach them to stitching techniques and starting sewing business. Apart from this training, we are going to start sewing and embroidery trainings to two more batches at the end of this month.
On behalf of them, CHHASE would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them to learn sewing & embroidery skills.
Trainings are great opportunities for our women and girls to further develop their marketable skills and therefore a little step towards self independence.
Many thanks again for your support! We will continue to keep you updated about our work and events of the following months.

Hi,
Sangeetha, aged 30 is from a poor family. Her family situation compelled her to stop education after +2 and got married at the age of 22. Now she is mother of two children.
Her husband is working as security guard in a private company, where he gets very low salary. She decided to go to work. But she could not get a decent job in an office or elsewhere.
She joined our embroidery training and got free training for 45 days. During training she quickly learned embroidery technique. After training she took S.H.G loan of INR.6,000/= and purchased a Embroidery cot and started her own embroidery job. She is selling finished sarees in near by villages. Now she is earning an average of INR 250/= per day. Now she is confident enough to send her children to school.
This success has allowed her to sustain her family, which comprises 4 members, and to send her 2 children to school. Like Sangeetha, There are many were succeeded through our skills development programme.
Trainings are great opportunities for women to further develop their marketable skills and therefore a little step towards self independence
This will not be possible without the support of you. Thank you very much to all the donors who have supported our rural women.
