Cristi Hegranes - Executive Director, Founder

Cristi Hegranes is an award-winning journalist and a renowned international journalism trainer. The recent recipient of the Ida B. Wells Award for Bravery in Journalism, Cristi believes that journalism is a development tool capable of that can ignite direct and lasting social change. Cristi dedicates each day to the brave women of GPI who have turned her vision into a reality.

Eliza Barclay - Associate Trainer, Climate Wire

Eliza Barclay is a journalist based in Washington, D.C. She covers public health, the environment, technology, immigration, economic development and food for The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic News and other publications. Her radio work has aired on PRI’s The World and NPR’s LatinoUSA. She developed GPI's Climate Change Reporting training.
