This project will build the capacities of Afghan refugee's youth in Pakistan. PEDO will provide free vocational technical skill trainings to Afghan youth in refugee camps and outside camps to restore their confidence and equip them with tools through which, they can immediately start earning their own bread and help the rebuilding process in Afghanistan.
Most of the Afghan refugee's youth living in camps and outside camps in Pakistan are involved in non-technical trades such as petty jobs, laboring etc. This issue gives rise to unemployment, poverty, drugs addiction, militancy, and violence. Since the fall of Taliban rule in Afghanistan, the country is re-building on a very fast pace. There is a big demand of skilled labour class in the country to support the rebuilding process.
PEDO has started to build the capacities of more than 500 Afghan refugee's boys and girls in Pakistan each year through its project of HYTEC Institute of Technology. PEDO provides training courses in trades such as computer hardware and software, electrician, plumbing, mason, heavy construction machinery operations, auto mobiles, tailoring, medical and reproductive health care. PEDO also provides tool kits and busines startup capital to the graduating interns. Let us help rebuild Afghanistan.
The project will build the capacities of Afghan refugee's boys and girls in different vocational technical skills. This will provide skilled labour for rebuilding process of Afghanistan. The project will also help to reduce the dependency of Afghanistan on import of labour from other countries. The project will help to reduce unemployment, poverty, drugs addiction, militancy, and violence in the country. The project will help Afghan youth to become part of rebuilding their country.
