The project aims at providing a training program to Brazilian youths from the poorest suburbs of Sao Paulo. This will allow them to find a job in fields such as computing, HR assistant and administrative assistant. Basic English is also taught. The goal is to provide the students sufficient knowledge to find a job or set up and run a small business (salon, barbershop, small shop etc.). Currently, classes take place ONLINE.
The youngsters come from poor communities of the Sao Paulo suburbs. Youngsters from these communities are very often unable to find a decent job and end up in the streets doing small and illegal jobs.
The goal of the project is to remove the youths from the streets and provide training in several fields that will allow them to develop a skill to enable them to find a paid job in the marketplace. On the main picture you can see Antonio and his computing teacher on graduation day.
By providing education and training, the project will allow the youths from the poor communities to find a paid job, giving them sustainability. The impact on the family of the youth and the community is enormous. Dignity, self esteem and buying power is restored. The project aims at giving training to 360 youths. This will impact 360 families or about 1500 people.
