Miki Vuckovich served on the Tony Hawk Foundation Board Of Directors from 2002 to 2008, and has served as Executive Director since 2004. With 25 years in the skateboarding industry and more than a decade covering the sport around the world for major skateboarding publications, Miki has seen the benefits of skateboarding positively affect youth from Mexico to Europe to the Russian Far East.
Tony Hawk has won more skateboarding competitions and invented more tricks than anyone, ever. Having "retired" from competition in 1999, Tony continues to skate and progress, and travels with his Boom Boom HuckJam Tour to perform at arenas across the U.S. In 2002 he launched the Tony Hawk Foundation to improve the lives of youth across the U.S.
Combined with other sources of funding, this project raised enough money to fund the outlined activities and is no longer accepting donations.
