1000+ individuals who live and travel to this Andean Mountain village will have access to clean drinking water by utilizing sustainable technologies to overcome engineering challenges.
Provide safe clean potable water to children. Due to contaminted water children face severe health problems. Funds donated will go to help purchase pump, pipe line & solar panels windmills.
Send a team of professional & student engineers to help supervise the installation of the pumping system. A term recently visited september 1 -12, 2010 to implement and asess the site for possibly installing renewable energy technology.
Installation of the disinfection & pumping solution will have to take place in phases, with multiple trips. The scope will be expanded to other villages so clean water can be distributed all over the region.
"It is easy to take for granted the things we have in this developed world. God bless those who made that possible but we need to help those who are not as developed and dying because of it."
