Summary

Our primary focus is the provision of 24/7 care for 38 epileptics and persons with mild neurological disorders.

What is the issue, problem, or challenge?

There is not sufficient funding for the residents of REEA Foundation. We need to secure the home for 38 people with epilepsy and mild neurological disorders and make it sustainable. The new board of directors is currently working on a sustainable restructuring plan of the charity organisation. We are on the correct path but need some financial assistance to lead REEA Foundation to the next level of sustainability.

How will this project solve this problem?

Through funding at the Global Giving platform REEA Foundation will hopefully reach its budget target for 2011 which currently has a shortfall. REEA Foundation is targeting to raise other funds through other channels but is hoping to raise some money through Global Giving to put a smile on our residents faces.

Potential Long Term Impact

The long term effect will be the sustainability of the 76 years old charity organisation caring for people with epilepsy and mild neurological disorders. The 38 residents would be able to keep their home where they feel safe and cared for.
