This project will provide educational enrichment, a daily school lunch , and educational enrichment activities to, 200 orphans and disadvantaged in Jinja ,kamuli and Buikwe District of Uganda's early and primary educational programs. The intervation reqiures a team work of all stakeholders both within the districts and outside Uganda in order to overcome the long term effects of the scourge and reverse the trend
Children who are ignorant hungry have the following options (1) Look for what eat or work or start a small business to earn some money to buy food or (2) Start begging or (3) Start stealing. As a consequence of hunger, frustration results if none of these options work. In all human beings frustration leads to aggression, whether it is verbal or physical. It is vented on the nearest ones- fellow, children, parents,neighbors, when the frustration is a daily occurrence it is vented to community
Empowering the marginalized children will improve their own living conditions through the right to knowledge. Knowledge has power to break the cycle of poverty.
Investing in education means,helping children live longer,have healthier live,know the risks of HIV/AIDS,get better jobs and earn a fair living,participate in decision making,help to lift their families, communities and eventually their country out of poverty.
