By providing both emergency pet food supplies and spay-neuter assistance to struggling families, we succeed in reducing shelter populations and keeping people and their pets together.
Devastating financial circumstances continue to rip families apart simply because they cannot afford to feed their family pets. Area shelters are overwhelmed with beloved but abandoned animals, all because a family cannot muster the pennies per day to keep them fed. Despite best efforts, their fate is dismal. The pain touches every single family, regardless of where they call home. And during these challenging times, that could be any one of us.
