The Life Of Oketcho Manasseh

By a male, 46-60 years old , in Kampala, Uganda
Map of THE LIFE OF OKETCHO MANASSEH This boy was in P.5 at Kawempe Primary School(1998). He was from quite a well-to-do family. His parents originate from Tororo. This boy joined a bad group and he started dodging lessons especially after lunch lessons. He even became worse and one time stole an amount of sh. 80,000/= from his parent. When I talked to him, he denied all this allegations and most of the time he would keep quiet meaning consent. So a second thought came to me and I advised the father to talk to an LDU of their area to lead him to the police station in a polite way as a friend. This worked very well and the boy changed after being slapped at the police station. He did not escape from school anymore. The boy was taken to the village when the father lost the job. He passed well and joined senior one and was always among the first ten. Then, today, he has completed senior six and is doing a course. Otherwise, the father had given up with the boy. Read more.
