The west coast of Thailand was severely hit, including outlying islands and populated areas such as Phuket.
Thai survivors have taken refuge in shelters along the affected western coast. There is a great need for emergency supplies and more permanent housing.
This fund will support general disaster relief activities including medical care, shelter for those displaced after the tsunami, food, and clothing for survivors.
Allow local organizations to effectively respond to this crisis affecting huge numbers of Thai residents.
