The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust Human Services program targets economically disadvantage families, individuals, seniors, homeless, physically challenging and other individuals who fall within the guidelines of living at or below the poverty-rate. The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust provides thousands of families and individuals with basic human needs such as food, clothing, shelter and referral to other agencies that will help them to become self-sufficiency.

The unemployment rate in Wayne county, Michigan has rose to 11.3% Lack of jobs. The number of job loss increased by 5.1% in Michigan. Lack of educational training and educational background for hundreds of families and individuals crippling them.
How will this project solve this problem?
Goal #1: To continue to provide basic human needs for low-income families and individuals in Michigan, during these tough economic times. Objective #1: To increase the numbers of clients served by The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust by 20% before December 31, 2013. Goal #2: To make available other resources from other community agencies and Government agencies. Objective #2: To partner with 4 additional agencies providing the same services before July 1, 2013.
Potential Long Term Impact
Project Outcomes Long-Term Success Goal #1: Collaborate with other Human Services Agencies and Federal Assistance Programs. Objective #1: We plan to partner with an additional 5 to 10 Human Services Agencies by June 1, 2013. Goal #2: Employ 2 to 4 staff members for The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust to help lower the percentage rate of poverty in Michigan. Our new job creation will help a small percentage of individuals to become self-sufficient .
