Life and Water Development Group – Cameroon is fighting against rape, supporting the victims of rape. Most of the victims are teenagers between 8-18yrs and above. They can't speakout because freely
Actually, we have 70 registered teenagers who are all victims of rape, with unwanted children, children who they don’t want to look at in the eyes. some had abortion of unwanted pregnancies from the result of rape, some suffered severe injuries that are being treated etc... All of these teenagers are traumatized; couldn't discuss any of this to their families or friends because of treaths and scandals. Our work is to give more hope to them through different activities with health & social teams
We make sure we prepare the minds of these teenagers, educate them on how to continue with live, support them with medical care, vocational training, educate them to accept these children, support to start up their small businesses etc..
This project will help these women/teenagers to have a hope through their training, education from the support. They will be able to accept this situation, learn how to take actions in such situations, teach and protect others around them
