Your gift will support the donation of technology and supporting services to improve the quality of education in some developing countries.
Every child deserves a quality education. But students are often for want of interactive ways to absorb information and create content, and teachers are often in need of the tools to individualize instruction and foster problem-based learning. Technology gives teachers new resources for engaging and effective education. It sparks the joy of discovery, joins students with a wider world, and builds skills that build the future.
This Fund will work with organizations in developing countries around the world to enhance the quality of education through the effective use of technology. Where possible and reasonable, Intel Classmate PCs will help accomplish this.
Providing education and access to educational tools to students who would not otherwise have readily available computer and Internet access will allow children to receive the quality education and chance for economic opportunity they deserve.
