Lukonyi Garden

By a female, 46-60 years old , in Busia, Kenya
Map of LUKONYI GARDEN Around my community there was a bushy land which remained unused for a very long time. This bushy land was mainly used by people around the area for short and long call purposes. It reached a time that this area became a dangerouse zone where people would be hijacked, ladies would be raped and lot of indecent things. This year the MInistry of Forestry cleared the bushy land and left the trees and has constructed concrete chairs where people go there to just sit and relax and have fun. The place has completely changed with an amazing shade and cool enviroment that makes the once known as Lukonyi garden a replicar of Masinde Muliro garden in Kakamega. Read more.
