Map of ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES In a certain community in Narok women make a vital an increasing contribution to family income in many households, especially the poorer households, and among nomadic and agricultural communities to the maintenance of family assets, through the case of livestock, farm property and male progeny. For many households, womens income is the only at least the main means of livelihood for their families. This is most obviously the case for the large number of female headed households. But also applied for many households where the male head is still present but is unemployed, in adquate water for cultivating livestock and domestic uses. Read more.
