Challenge

society is facing negligence of elderly people and disabled persons leading to misconception about their welfare. so many of the peop0le living in kiima kimwe of these category have been neglected and suffer a lot and thus the need for intervention

Solution

the project will provide basic skills on disability management thus help the society address the following Planning the family for the youth,Health habits for the aged ,Voluntary HIV testing and counseling for the young adults with disabilities

Long-Term Impact

1. Continue with diagnostic assessment to identify children and youth with hearing impairment (assessment is a continuous process) . 2. To carry out further survey to identify the elderly persons who are in dire need of care and attention (survey is a continuous process). 3. Conduct seminars to the caregivers of the aged.
