Summary
This project will assist 430 Aceh children and family refugees from the tsunami in rebuilding their lives by providing schooling for the children and creating new work opportunities for adults.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The Bakoy community and Puspem have identified a programmed of extra curricular activities for children such as learning English, Indonesian, Mathematic, Natural and Social science and providing scholarships for students that can be implemented over the next 12 months. The total participant of this project is 600 children and 16 people. This project will benefit more than 440 Internally Displaced Persons, from Banda Aceh and neighboring villages of Kajhu, who have found refuge in Bakoy village.
