Unfortunately, more than 8% of population in India are disabled either by birth/accident/ill health. Malnutrition, lack of immunization practices, child marriages and marriages within the kin are some of the causes for disability. Because of disability, they have to depend on others for attending their nature calls, which has become more burden to the other family members. Hence, it is a great necessity to provide sanitary facilities for these poor disabled to protect their dignity and honor.
