In Bihar in India, one of India's poorest states, there are no developed child welfare systems, and Rescue Junction reaches out to children who have been forgotten and abandoned. These children are at risk of being involved in prostitution or criminal activities and before Rescue Junction they had no one to turn to for help or assistance. Over 25 lost children have been reunited with their parents since the centre opened.

This project has provided additional documentation in a PDF file (projdoc.pdf).
it is the aim of the trust to engage with the police, railway authorities, the judicial system and local government in helping to provide a child safety network in the district. This has the potential to help so many kids.
Rescue Junction is a safe and protective place for children. They are doing wonderful work. I have never seen such a project being run so well and really having a great effect in any other district.
