In October 2008, our popular "Moving Medical Camp" trekked into rural Nepal to assist local villages with free medical care. The volunteer team assisted nearly 1,000 people.
With your donations and support, we are able to provide medical assistance to these people - the district of Rasuwa is nearly the poorest district in Nepal - ranking 66 out of 75.
We are returning to this area again in March 2009, to offer the same assistance. Stay tuned with updates at the link below.

October 2007 Moving Medical Camp
Our popular "Moving Medical Camp" provides basic healthcare and medical treatment. Our volunteer medical team will trek deep into the rural countryside on the Langtang Trail and bring along with us the equipment and supplies needed to stay several days in villages and conduct health clinics.

Medical Lab Volunteer in Nepal
Medical volunteers from the Mobile Medical Labs in Thulo, Nepal and Peru are bringing access to medical care to the most remote mountainous villages in the world. However, the labs are still in need of portable equipment such as tents, an x-ray machine and showers.
