Summary
This project provides education learning tools to 1385 poor children in over 15 villages in rural Nigeria to give quality to their education and improve their learning methods.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
The problem that Partners for Freedom is addressing is poverty and illiteracy among poor children in Uboma villages of Imo State in Nigeria. Our solution offers a variety of education resources for alternative learning methods that improve the education of children from poor families. The project will help children from poor families learn to be creative, and build their arts literacy skills. These education supplies are not available to 1385 poor children in UBOMA villages.
How will this project solve this problem?
If we provide one-year supply of additional learning tools like school bags, pens, pencils, rulers, crayons, erasers, exercise books, calculators, water bottles, and math sets we will improve the quality of education for poor rural children.
Potential Long Term Impact
Children learn by seeing, listening, and doing. Poor children in Uboma do not have the privilege to be creative and develop their potentials. The project will provide poor children the opportunity to enjoy learning and have quality education.
Project Message
Education is important to the health of a nation and its people. By giving education to poor children we invest wisely in our future today.
