Van is a city that was already dealing with hard economic conditions before the earthquake. The region's recovery will not be swift. With this in mind, Turkish Philanthropy Funds has been working to gauge the long-term needs of those affected by the disaster with the goal of supporting projects that will contribute to longer term recovery and re-building of the communities.
Your generosity will allow TPF to help AKUT Search and Rescue Association (AKUT Arama Kurtarma Dernegi) purchase equipment that are used during search and rescue efforts. Over the coming days, TPF will purchase Searchcam 3000 Kit and Delsar 6 Sensor Seismic/Accoustic Listening System, which help to detect and locate victims trapped in collapsed buildings.
We thank you once again for your support.
